Our fishing boat fleet includes three boats to choose from. The Tracker Classic XL seats up to 3 people with a 550 lb capacity and comes equipped with a fish finder and is available with an optional Helix upgrade. The Champion Elite 181 seats up to 4 people with a 608 lb capacity and also comes equipped with a fish finder. The Alumacraft is a standard 2-person fishing boat and does not include a fish finder. All three come with required safety gear including life jackets and lights.

You must be 21 or older to operate one of our fishing boats. Wisconsin also requires a boating safety certification for operators born on or after January 1, 1989. Complete yours at boat-ed.com/wisconsin before your trip. No one under 18 may operate the boat at any time.

Yes. All anglers 16 and older are required to have a valid Minnesota or Wisconsin fishing license. Wisconsin fishing season opens May 2nd this year. Purchase your Wisconsin license next door at The Log Cabin Store or at go.wildlicense.com/wisl. If you plan to fish on the Minnesota side of the border, purchase your Minnesota license at dnr.state.mn.us/licenses/online-sales. We do not provide licenses on site so please take care of this before your trip.

Burnett County is an exceptional multi-species fishery. You can expect walleye, muskie, northern pike, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and panfish across the area lakes. Burnett County is also home to the Wisconsin state record hook-and-line lake sturgeon.

All required safety gear in compliance with Wisconsin State Law is provided including life jackets. The Tracker Classic XL and Champion Elite also come with a fish finder. The Helix is available for rent with the Tracker for an upgraded experience.

Bring your own rods, tackle, and bait if you have them. If you need gear, we have fishing poles and tackle available to rent. Bait is available next door at the Log Cabin Store.

We do not have a dedicated dock this season so you will be responsible for hauling the boat to your preferred lake. Delivery to your lake is available for a fee based on your destination — call us at 715-227-3004 to discuss options and pricing.

Burnett County has over 200 lakes, many with public boat landings. The area is well known for walleye, muskie, bass, and panfish. Our staff can point you toward the best lakes based on what you are hoping to catch — just ask when you arrive.

Yes. Children are welcome as passengers. Life jackets are required for all passengers 12 and under per Wisconsin state law and are provided. No one under 18 may operate the boat at any time.

Sunscreen, sunglasses, hand towels, layers for wind on the water, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks. Please also avoid bringing glass. Bring your fishing gear if you have it — rods, tackle, and bait. Life jackets are provided. A cooler is a great idea for your catch and your drinks. Drink coolers are available for rent.

Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited when operating any of our watercraft. There are no exceptions.
